After the screening, the filmmakers and Susan’s family engaged in meaningful discussions with the audience ranging from their favorite memories while filming to the intricacies of frontotemporal dementia, and what they hope to achieve with the release of the film: To encourage families everywhere to sit down together and have necessary conversations about dementia and end-of-life care. Specifically, FTD impacts 55 million people globally, not to mention countless more family members and care partners.
